Voice for Bitrix24

Privacy Policy

Voice for Bitrix24 (on the App Store: “NeonWorks Voice”) works between your iPhone and your organisation's own Bitrix24 portal. Your voice, message texts and employee names never reach us, the developers; our license server receives only the technical data needed to check the license.

Updated: 2026-10-03

Who we are

The app, the neonworks.voice module and the license server are developed and run by Evgenii Sinitsyn (Neonworks). Questions about data: [email protected].

The Bitrix24 portal you connect your phone to belongs to your organisation, which is responsible for the data on its server. Neonworks is not affiliated with Bitrix24.

Your voice

Speech is recognised on your iPhone using Apple's built-in on-device dictation model. Audio is not saved and is not sent anywhere — not to the portal, not to us and not to any cloud AI service.

On first launch iOS may download the speech recognition language model from Apple once.

What is sent to the portal

Text only: the first few words of the phrase, so the portal can find the recipient by name (including grammatical cases and short forms of names), and the text of the message you send.

When pairing: your phone's name (for example, “Anna's iPhone”) so you can recognise it in the device list.

The portal returns your name and a list of recent chat partners (without message contents) to help recognise names more accurately.

Device token

You pair the phone with a one-time code or QR code from your portal's /voice/ page, and you confirm the connection yourself. The phone then receives a token stored in the iPhone Keychain. The portal stores only a SHA-256 hash of the token, not the token itself.

The token stops working if you disconnect the device on the /voice/ page or in the app (Sign out), after 90 days without use, or when the employee's password changes or the account is deactivated or blocked.

What the portal stores

The module stores on your organisation's server: the device list (name, status, expiry), a log of sent commands (recipient, result, text) and records of failed pairing attempts (time, IP address). Message texts in the log are deleted automatically after 30 days.

The messages themselves are stored in Bitrix24 chat like any other message from the employee, under your portal's rules.

What stays on the iPhone

The portal address and token in the Keychain; the history of your last 50 messages (no audio) and settings in the app's storage. Sign out disconnects the device on the portal and clears the history. Deleting the app deletes its data from the phone.

License check

Once a day (and at installation or when you click “Check now”) the portal module contacts our license server at b24voice.neonworks.app and sends: the portal address, the license key (if entered), the number of active employees on the portal, the number of seats in use (employees who have paired a phone), a random installation identifier and the module version.

When needed (for example, if the portal has no internet access), the iPhone app asks the same server to confirm the license and sends only the portal address.

Your voice, message texts, names, positions or any other employee information are never sent to the license server.

What is stored: license and trial records (portal address, dates, number of seats, time of the last check, the most recently reported employee and seat counts, module version, installation identifiers); the license key is stored only as a SHA-256 hash plus its last 4 characters. The check log (time, portal address, result, module version, employee and seat counts) is capped at the latest 20,000 entries — older entries are deleted automatically. The license server does not store IP addresses.

As with any request to the website, Cloudflare processes the IP address to deliver and protect it, and the web server's technical log may contain the request address — with the portal address but without the sender's IP address.

License and trial records are kept as long as needed for license accounting (a portal gets one trial). Questions and deletion requests: [email protected].

What we don't do

The app has no advertising, analytics, tracking or cloud AI services. Apart from the license check above, our server receives no data: we cannot see your colleagues, your messages or your conversations.

Permissions

Microphone — to record your phrase. Speech recognition — to turn it into text on the device. Camera — only to scan the pairing QR code.

Account and data deletion

The app has no NeonWorks account: the phone is paired with your organisation's portal as your own portal user. Sign out in the app's settings revokes the device on the portal and deletes the token and history from the phone; deleting the app deletes all its data from the phone. Records on the portal are deleted by the portal administrator; license records on our server — on request to [email protected].

Website & support privacy

Website requests

This website is served from our Mac mini through Cloudflare. Cloudflare and our web server process technical request data such as your IP address, requested page, browser information and access time to deliver and protect the website. Server access and error logs may contain this information.

Language preference

If you choose a language, we save a first-party language cookie for up to one year across neonworks.app and its product subdomains. It is used only to remember your selection. There are no advertising trackers or analytics scripts added to this website.

Support messages

The support form sends your email address, topic and message through our server and Cloudflare to our support inbox hosted by Apple iCloud. We use your address to reply. Message contents are not stored in the website database. To prevent abuse and duplicate submissions, we retain keyed hashes of request data and IP/email addresses, timestamps and delivery status for up to seven days. If you email us directly, we also receive any attachments you include. Avoid sending unnecessary personal information. Messages are retained only as needed to handle the request and ordinary business records.

Your choices and contact

You can clear the language cookie in your browser and request access, correction or deletion of support correspondence by writing to [email protected]. We may retain information where required by law. The developer is Evgenii Sinitsyn.
